      Privacy policy

      Information concerning the processing of personal data, in accordance with Section 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27th April 2016

      In compliance with the provisions set out in Section 13 of Legislative Decree no. 196 of 30 June 2003, “Code regarding the protection of personal data”, as subsequently amended (hereafter, the “Privacy Code”), Artastasia (the “Firm”), represented by its founder Anastassia Loukachevitch, wishes to inform you about the methods by and purposes according to which your personal data will be processed stored and managed by the Firm.

      1. Data processing purposes

      Pursuant to Section 6 of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the handling of personal data is necessary and solely meant to effectively provide the legal assistance services (both judicial and extra-judicial) rendered by the Firm and to fulfil the administrative, accounting and tax obligations related to such services, as well as to organize (also through third parties) events, meetings, seminars, workshops or any other promotional activity that may be of interest to you, and to send you informative material and communications on legal issues updates that may be relevant to your business or otherwise to carry out legal, advisory and financial statistics and surveys.
      Data may be collected either at your place of business and/or through your employees and contractors and/or public registers and records and/or documents and deeds that are publicly available. .

      2. Data processing methods and arrangements

      Personal data provided by you will be processed both manually (hardcopy archive) and electronically, in compliance with Section 32 and following of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679, relevant to the safeguard of data privacy.
      The data processing will be carried out through of a number of activities, namely: collection, recording, organization, storage, reference, elaboration, update, selection, retrieval, comparison, usage, cross-referencing and connection, blocking, communication, erasure and destruction.
      Data processing will be performed by the data controller, the representative, where appointed, and/or by the person(s) in charge of the personal data processing.

      3. Sensitive or judicial data

      Personal, common, sensitive and judicial data processing (as defined by article 4, paragraph 1, letters a) to o) and r) to u) of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679, and Section 3, paragraph 1, letters a) to o) and r) to u) of Italian Presidential Decree no. 313/2002 concerning the criminal record office, the register of crime-related administrative sanctions and the relevant current charges), if undertaken, is strictly necessary for the activities under point 1 and it does not require your consent pursuant to article 6, letter b) and c) of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679.
      Any refusal from you to provide one or more personal data will not allow the Firm to accept any introduction or retainer, nor to provide any legal assistance to you, nor to undertake any of the activities set out in point 1 above.

      4. Data dissemination

      Your personal data or personal data of your company, of your employees or associate, will be communicate by the Firm exclusively to person (s), internal or external, who needs to know them to perform the activities, according to the purposes set out in point 1 above.

      5. Cross-border data flows

      Pursuant to Section 44 and following of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679, personal data may be transferred to other EU and non-EU countries, for the purposes and activities set forth under point 1 above.

      6. Data subject’s rights

      According to Sections from 15 to 21 of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679, you, as data subject (i.e. party concerned), shall have the right to:

      1. obtain confirmation of the existence of personal data and access to their contents (Right of access);
      2. update, modify and / or rectify the personal data (Right of rectification);
      3. request the cancellation or the limitation of the processing of the data treated in violation of the law, including those data which are no longer necessary to be kept in respect of the purposes for which the data were originally collected, or subsequently processed, or otherwise treated (Right to be forgotten and Right to limitation);
      4. oppose to the treatment of such data (Right of opposition);
      5. revoke the consent, where given, without prejudice to the lawfulness of the treatment based on the consent given before revocation;
      6. file a complaint with the supervisory authority, in case of violation of the regulations concerning data protection;
      7. receive a copy of the data concerned in electronic format provided in the context of the contract, and request that such data be transmitted to another data controller (Right to data portability).
      7. Data controller

      You and your staff may exercise your rights, at any time, in accordance with Section 15 of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679, by contacting the person responsible for processing your data.
